They’ve Got You Covered – iPad 2 Case Roundup

As you all are probably aware of by now, the iPad 2 was announced at Apple’s press conference on the 2nd. Those of you looking into buying the case this Friday may also be interested in buying a case to accompany your new, and obviously slick, device. Here’s some of the companies who have announced line-ups for this new Apple device:

NLU Products:
The makers of the BodyGuardz, which I loved in its iPod Touch 4G form, and ScreenGuardz will be releasing their screen protector and cases coordinating to the specs of the iPad 2. The shields and cases will be priced ranging from $19.95 to $29.95 depending on what you are looking for. You can also take an additional 15% off of the total price at checkout (for both BodyGuardz and ScreenGuardz) by using the coupon code iPad2.

If you like vibrant colors or other crazy designed cases, Fabrix’s newly announced iPad 2 cases. All priced at pretty affordable prices, take them into consideration.

Want functionality? You’ve definitely got it with Kensington’s trio of cases for the iPad 2 slated for released in April. They’re priced slightly higher than other case but, seriously, take a look at their sweet features.

Nothing screams out unique more than Case-Mate’s announced line-up. Starting with the Simple cases with nothing much offered besides protection ranging to their cases with solid stands, they’ve got you covered. Whether you’re looking for simplicity or functionality or even something to fit your personality, Case-Mate has got it. You can get in a quick peak at the cases or signup to receive information about the release.

With 5 cases, all BooqPads, set to release near the end of March (25th to be exact), variety is not a problem. The significance about these cases putting them apart from the rest? They’re ideal for work or school or other such due to the combination of an iPad 2 case along with the 50 sheet notepad. Five color options are available which include sand-plum ($49.95), black-grey ($49.95), grey-green ($49.95), white-berry ($49.95) and coffee-cream ($99.95)

Belkin is a long time case manufacturer respected for the outstanding quality of the cases that they design. For the iPad 2, 4 cases and 2 screen protecting films. All cases with durable stands and other awesomeness, this selection looks to be something to look in to.

Get ready, because these cases from Targus are both stylish and function-filled. Arriving on the same day as the iPad 2, March 11th, the cases that this manufacturer are providing are sweet! One lets you swivel your iPad a full 360 degrees to assist the needs of whatever you’re doing whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or typing an email. The VuScape is a hard-shell, flip case that doubles up as a stand at the same time. And the last, the TPU Skin, covers the back and sides of your iPad. – Plus, they’re all priced very reasonably. Again, the basic levels of complexity answered!

Speck has one sleeve, the Pixelsleeve, meant solely for the iPad 2 which can be bought now for $29.95. Additionally, they have a few bags compatible with a few devices. They don’t have much, though you can expect to see some good products arise in the coming weeks!

Proporta is a favorite of mine as they supplied one of my best cases for my iPod Touch 2G. Their lineup available for pre-order is massive with 6 cases and 2 screen protectors. With high quality material used in their making, they’re not too shabby.

That’s all for now. If I find anymore, I’ll update the post accordingly. You have any that I missed? Please post a comment below.
