Making its way from its native home of Windows, Microsoft product manager Petr Bobek has informed IHNED that the Office application collection will one day call iOS devices home. However, the productivity fun does not end on Apple's platform as Office will find homeland across the vast majority of active operating systems: Windows Phone, Windows RT, Mac OS, Android, iOS and Symbian.
It's March and all that cool stuff you saw at CES and Macworld Expo is finally beginning to hit the shelves. Specifically, a new product from Case-Mate, which we previewed back in January, is now shipping. For those who don't remember, Hug is a wireless induction charger that allows you to attach a case to your iPhone 3G or 3GS, then place the handset on a charging platter. You can grab it now from Case-Mate's website for $99.99.
They've included a video, so take a gander:
Over at CES, long-time accessory maker Case-Mate announced the release of the Hug, a wireless charging solution specifically made for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The Hug case is a durable hard case which acts as the receiver for the Hug Pad. Put the case and the pad together and your iPhone begins to charge, much in the way a Powermat works.
The Hug will be available in Mid-January, ship with the charging pad, iPhone case and a screen protection kit and retail for $89.99.
