UK College To Offer iPhone Game Developing Course

Classes on developing for the iPhone in one way or another have been popping up around the US, even though the strict NDA attached to the iPhone SDK remains in place. The NDA indirectly prohibits the sharing of information on how to write code for the iPhone, but that’s not stopping North London’s Qantm College from introducing their own iPhone Game Development course.

The course is available as both evening and weekend sessions and begin February 2009, costing participants £3.950. They claim to have plans to offer the course in their other campuses in Australia, Germany and the Netherlands.

“With the games market exploding with next-generation activity and web designers in such high demand there’s never been a better time to consider a career in interactive entertainment and new media,” said Qantm spokesman Nic Oliver.

“The iPhone Course is a great example of education and industry working perfectly together. At Qantm we work very closely with commercial organisations, which yields great dividends in terms of relevant and practical course content and, consequently, higher employment opportunities for our students.”
