TomTom Creating GPS App For iPhone 3G

The GPS capabilities with the iPhone 3G could very well be a game changer for location-aware software on the device, and Dutch GPS maker TomTom has announced that they want in on the action. According to Reuters, they have successfully ported a version of their TomTom software to the iPhone. "Our navigation system runs on the iPhone already," stated a spokesman for the company, and it is believed that a version of the software will be for sale through the App Store. [via Reuters]
