Study Shows iPhone 3G Increasing iPhone Marketshare, Usage Spikes On Weekends
Submitted by Edward Kirk on August 20, 2008 - 6:36pm.

Web monitoring firm NetApplications has released the results of a study recently that show that the use of iPhones for web browsing has increased greatly with the launch of the iPhone 3G. Interestingly, 9to5 Mac has calculated that, based on the released information, iPhone web browsing spikes 50-70% on weekends.

This is actually pretty interesting information. If their calculations are accurate, then it suggests that most iPhone users use their device mostly for their own enjoyment than for work, as the opposite trend tends to show for email-focused devices like the Blackberry.
