Sprint Already Accepting Pre-Orders For the iPhone 4
Sprint is betting heavily on the iPhone, reportedly agreeing to purchase 30 million handsets over the next four years. The carrier got to work quickly by accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 4 on Thursday, and announcing their unlimited data plan.
“Sprint’s Simply Everything Plan is the only plan from a national carrier to offer truly unlimited calling, data and text for just $99.99 per month plus the required $10 Premium Data add-on charge. The Mobile Hotspot option will be available for an additional $29.99 per month supporting up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously.”
The cost of Sprint’s data plan ranges from $69 a month to $99 a month, and each plan requires you to pay an additional $10 premium data add-on charge.
New and existing Sprint customers can order the iPhone 4 starting today for $99. The iPhone 4S can be pre-ordered at 12:01 AM PST on Friday. The iPhone 4S is $199.99 for the 16GB model, $299.99 for the 32GB model and $399.99 for the 64GB model. All prices require a new or upgraded contract.
The iPhone 4S features Apple’s dual-core A5 chip, 1080p HD resolution video recording, and their new voice command assistant Siri. The iPhone 4S will ship from Sprint, Verizon and AT&T on October 14.
