Mail Prompt Hints At Notes Syncing

It appears that Apple may finally be getting ready to add the ability to sync notes with your computer. A user recently found a new dialog box in the Mac app Mail that mentions the ability to change a note to or from Rich Text format. More importantly, the note warns that Rich Text format is not editable on the iPhone.

The prompt reads:

“Changing the style or formatting requires that this note be converted to rich text format. Rich text notes may not be editable on iPhone and other devices.”

Notes syncing was expected to show up in the 2.0 update but never did. Hopefully Apple will add it soon, but don’t get your hopes up just yet.
