.Mac To Gain More Than Push Email In June

in

If rumors are true, Push email support won't be the only edition to .Mac for the iPhone come June. According to TUAW's anonymous source, .Mac will be undergoing a complete redesign that will add several new iPhone-related features, the launch of which will coincide with the launch of iPhone firmware 2.0.

The source claims that the new features will also include full over-the-air syncing of things like contacts, calendars, and email, similar to Exchange. It will also allow for .Mac syncing on Windows, which seems unusual for something with "Mac" in the name. However, TUAW notes that it would make sense in order to make .Mac a better experience than using Exchange on Windows.
