iTunes Wi-Fi Store Now iTunes Store, Works Over 3G
Submitted by Edward Kirk on January 6, 2009 - 2:44pm.

Among the announcements today at Apple's Macworld Keynote Address, Apple confirmed circulating rumors that the iTunes Wi-Fi store on the iPhone and iPhone 3G would gain the ability to download media over the 3G network. Earlier this morning Phil Schiller, Apple's VP of Worldwide Marketing, announced that they would be dropping the "Wi-Fi" from it's name, officially making it just the iTunes Store on the iPhone. With this new change, users will be able to download music anywhere without the need for a Wi-Fi hotspot.

IT WORKS!!!
It should have worked this way all along
Ooooo....3g downloads on itunes instead of wifi? That's the best idea to come to the iphone since "cut and paste" functionality . . . . errr. . .wait, not yet.
One word for today's Keynote: Next.
I've had more excitement opening a Cracker Jack prize envelope.
You say that MobileMe now has documents on the web? Be still my beating heart. That's almost as revolutionary as Google Documents - except I get to pay for the honor of using MobileMe.
iLife '09? Blah blah blah blah blah. I should get this update (and that's all it really is) for free or at least at a sizable discount since I bought iLife '08.
New MacBook? That's what I'm talking about! Keep the hardware updates coming, baby! Me like!
So, in sum: give me more hardware and leave the software updates/expansions/garbage as a footnote.
I just hope they stay consistent and charge ipod touch users twice as much as they charge the iphone users to get the updates! Take THAT ipod fools!
