Fring VoIP Application Now Available In App Store

Fringland Ltd’s highly anticipated application “Fring” has been released on the app store, giving users yet another VoIP solution for use on an iPhone. The application was available earlier this year for those who chose to jailbreak their iPhone and has since seen quite a few improvements in stability and ease of use. The application currently supports calling and instant-messaging from a wide variety of services including Skype, SIP, AIM, MSN Messenger, and Twitter. VoIP calls are only supported while connected via WiFi.

From Fring’s App Store page:

fring’s mobile internet service & community allows you to talk, chat & interact with other fringsters & all of your online buddies (fring, Skype, MSN, GoogleTalk, AIM, Yahoo, Twitter, ICQ)  using your iPhone’s internet capability.  Enjoy voice calls (VoIP) over WiFi and stay connected with your online world with instant messaging from anywhere using fring’s multiple connections (3G, WiFi, GPRS, Edge)  You can even check-out each other’s availability in real-time, with fring’s cool dynamic contact list display.

Fring is available for free and is available now in the App Store.
