MacWorld 2011 Preview
Last year Apple bowed out of MacWorld and there was a lot of talk about how MacWorld would die without Apple there. However, last years show was a huge success. This year should be no different. Now the purpose of MacWorld is to showcase all the new companies who have developed new and cool products. For me, the best part is seeing the products live. No matter how much I love virtual shopping, it’s a whole other ballgame when you get to try the products out yourself before you buy. The star of the show is easily the small exhibitor products. These are the people with innovative ideas just dying for a chance to be noticed. When we were at CES, the best products were usually found off the beaten path and the same will be true at MacWorld 2011. If you are interested in attending but think you can’t afford it, you are wrong. You can go for only $25 in advance and $45 at the door. And that includes all access to the trade show floor January 27-29 as well as the podcasts and other special events. Plus there is always the chance you may run into any number of faces on the floor. Countless celebrities and geek celebrities have been known to drop in to see what is new in the Apple universe. If you still can’t attend, no worries, we will fill you in on all the hot new products when we return. In the mean time follow iPhone Alley on Twitter for real time updates.
