Gigwalk..the App that Pays!
I was skeptical when I first read information about this app, but I gotta say, it’s the real deal! The free Gigwalk App essentially pays you to run errands or post information about businesses in your area. A business can post small jobs that can be completed using only their iPhone or smartphone. A job could be anything from taking pictures of a restaurant or business to seeing if you were asked for identification when purchasing alcohol.
After a quick registration, Gigwalk members can begin completing small jobs they will be paid for. Payments are anywhere from $3 on up and members will be paid via PayPal. The majority of jobs are around the $4 mark. This definitely wouldn’t be a full-time job but heck, it would be an easy way to make some extra cash.
This App is not for you unless you live or visit often the big metropolitan areas in the U.S. There are Gigwalk jobs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, New York City and Boston as well as their surrounding areas. The place with the largest number of available jobs is New York with Los Angeles as a close second.
The highest paid Gigwalker to date was using the app during beta testing. He completed 277 “gigs” for a total of $2,173. Not too shabby!
I wish I lived in a big city right about now.
