Take Screenshots In Firmware 2.0 Beta

Those of you working with the new 2.0 firmware beta might find this interesting. As some of you may remember, a while ago it was discovered how to take screenshots of the 1.1.4 firmware using a built-in key combination created by Apple, but this hasn't worked in the 2.0 firmware. Luckily a new combination has been found.

A TUAW reader by the name of Scott found the key combination when he saw a white flash when attempting to reboot his device. Unknowingly, he took about 5 of these screenshots while rebooting from several lockups without realizing it.

To take a screenshot in the 2.0 beta firmware, hold down the Power Button and then the Home Button. You should see the same flash and the screenshot you took should show up in your camera roll.
