AirPhones is an application which lets you stream audio from your computer to your iPhone or iPod touch. Once you have it set up — which doesn't take long at all — it's as simple as opening the app on your iPhone and hearing your computer's audio through your phone. You can play audio through the built-in speaker, using headphones, or even through a speaker dock if you have one. Simply plug in, open the app, and you're in business.

N.O.V.A. is a first person shooter brought to you by Gameloft, which has been known for making portable clones of popular console games. It's very reminiscent of Halo, not just in gameplay, but in story as well: In the future, people live on huge orbiting satellites, which band together to form the Near Orbit Vangaurd Alliance. An alien race known as Xenos hijack a marine ship and threaten the alliances safety. It is up to you, a retired marine forced back into duty, to combat the alien scum.

Doom Classic puts you in the boots of a Marine stationed at a martian outpost where all hell breaks loose, quite literally.  You are the lone survivor, and it's up to you to survive and escape, taking down the hell-spawn that invaded your base in the process.  The game is a straight port, and runs beautifully on the iPhone.  Running down corridors and blasting baddies is just as fun as you remember it, free of any lag or slowdown.  Even all of the original cheat codes work, just do a four finger tap and input them on the keypad.

Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies is a First Person Shooter game that pits you, a rookie soldier, against hordes of Nazi zombies in a war torn German bunker in World War II. That's right, you're fighting dead Nazis, turned into zombies. If you've played the zombie bonus mode on Call of Duty: World at War on a console game system, you'll know what to expect here: plenty of scary, creepy zombies, with WWII era rifles, shotguns, grenades, and flamethrowers.

RedLaser is a cool little barcode scanning app that may change the way you shop. The way it works couldn't be easier. Simply hit the "scan" button and point your iPhone's camera at a barcode (no autofocus camera required). RedLaser then looks up that barcode using Amazon and Google Product Search to show online listings for that exact product complete with prices. Awesome, right?

Birdbrain is a simple little app which allows you to track changes on one or more Twitter accounts. Its primary focus is on how many followers you gain and lose over time. It does this by periodically taking a snapshot of your Twitter account and showing you the changes. This means that you won't see any stats when you first get the app, but after a few days Birdbrain will be able to start reporting statistics on followers, posts, and more!

If you don't already know, Tweetie is one of the most popular iPhone Twitter clients out there today. It combines tons of powerful features with a killer user interface that you'd swear came from Apple. So when Loren Brichter, Tweetie's creator, started work on the next version, he was competing with his original app. To do this, Brichter totally rewrote the app from scratch, leaving behind every bit of code from version one. Then he applied all of the experience he gained from the original and created an even more powerful, feature-packed version with the same level of simplicity that made Tweetie a success. The result is Tweetie 2.

Pocket God is a cute little app that allows you to nurture and/or torment a small handful of islanders. Your little tribal friends are given multiple habitat options and there are many different "activities" you can do with them (or, if you'd prefer, TO them). Simple and intuitive controls, combined with some pretty entertaining concepts made Pocked God a popular app, but is it worth all the hype?

Annihilation Arena (a.k.a. AArena) gives us a glimpse into the bleak future, when heavily armed hovercraft will engage in deadly arena combat  for the public’s entertainment. You must pilot your ship around three different arenas, each more dangerous than the last, and destroy hundreds of enemy ships. Watch out for the final boss for each arena and survive to the next round of deadly combat.  The smooth controls, plentiful supply of power-ups, and a great techno soundtrack make Annihilation Arena a great way for action fans to spend $1.99.
 

Triazzle is a rainforest-themed puzzle game almost identical to the classic game called Tri-Ominos. The basic concept is that you are provided 9 or 16 triangular puzzle pieces, and you must rotate and place them according to the corresponding types on each side. With various difficulties, this proves to be quite an interesting rendition.
