An idea that may be as popular as the silkscreen shirt itself, Griffin and Threadless have announced that they have partnered up to offer Griffin cases with Threadless designs on them. The first two cases to come out of the partnership, "Birds of a Feather" and "Clouds Within The Thunder" are available for a limited time now through Griffin's site at $34.99 a piece. The shirts can also be found on the Threadless site.

More cases and accessories are planned for the future, so keep your eyes peeled. A video about the partnership and the two new designs follows after the break!

IvySkin has announced its first case with an integrated battery pack for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The SmartCase features an integrated battery which they claim provides 200% more battery life and a protective case. The case is made of a polycarbonate hard shell, coated in a polysilicon material and a glass "touch-thru" screen. If you don't need the extra juice, the battery can be removed from the case and replaced with a slim backing, slimming it down for extra pocketability.

The IvySkin SmartCase will cost $79.99 when it's available later this year.

Incase has informed iLounge that current models of the Incase Power Slider have been discontinued and are no longer available from their site. Although third party retailers may still have them, Incase is planning to release a new version of the Power Slider. Current models have reportedly been known to decrease 3G reception for some users. Incase plans to address the issue with the new version. A specific release date is unknown, but it will be “around the holiday timeframe.”

The Power Slider is a combination case and battery based off the design of the Incase Slider.

Eatsy has a new selection of hand-carved wooden cases from Substrata for the iPhone 3G. While it doesn't quite offer the same level of protection as a traditional case, it's darn pretty and fits the contours of the device perfectly (so we hear; we haven't gotten our hands on it yet). They come in a selection of beautiful woods, including zebrawood (pictured), macacuba wood, and wenge, and are finished with a coat of linseed oil. You can get them at the links above for $84.99.

We've already heard why the iPhone's camera is pretty darn great for what it is, but that's not to say it couldn't still do with some help. Since it lacks the ability to focus, taking pictures of things that are too close up can be difficult. To fill the void left by the camera's shortcomings, Griffin has released their own solution in the iClarifi case.

Those of you who play a lot of iPhone games might be interested in the new product Marware announced last week built for playing games on the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G. It's called the Game Grip for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, and it sports two silicone-covered handles to provide a more ergonomic gaming experience.

Speck today has introduced their brand new case, dubbed "Fitted." The new case is marketed as a fashion statement more than just another iPhone case, and it has the looks to prove it. Fitted will initially be available in tan houndstooth
check, black-and-white plaid, and black herringbone with pinstripes with more fabrics coming each season.

Otterbox has announced that their Defender series protective case is now available for the iPhone 3G. For those of you who aren't familiar, the Defender is a heavy-duty case for when a normal case isn't enough, offering three layers of protection against things like dirt, scratches and impacts.
