ZodTTD Submits Quake Port For iPhone To App Store For Approval

Several months ago, we saw Quake 3 running on a pair of iPod touches, and then later ZodTTD got Quake running on the iPhone. Since then, Cameron and Marcia Tofer of Hermitworks, the duo responsible for the Quake 3 port, announced that the project wasn't to be released. Unlike them, however, ZodTTD is now attempting to submit his Quake port over to the iPhone to the App Store for approval.

WWDC Featured 3D Game 'Kroll' Hits App Store

Kroll, the 3D adventure game from Digital Legend that was demoed at WWDC '08, has finally been released to the App Store. Its debut at the keynote was impressive, with stunning 3D graphics, but word has it that gameplay leaves a little to be desired and it's been getting mixed reviews. Still, if your interested you can check it out in the App Store for $7.99. There's a demo video after the break.

Zodttd Porting Quake 1 To iPhone

Zodttd, the guy who ported SNES to the iPhone, has been hard at work porting over yet another game. This time it's not an emulator, though. You might recall that someone had successfully ported Quake 3 to an iPod touch. It still hasn't been released, but now Zodttd is working on porting Quake 1, and we're hoping he'll release it when he's finished. Video after the break.

IG Fun Porting BioShock To The iPhone

Sure, the Turbo Grafix-16 Emulator we told you about yesterday is fun and all, but I'm sure many of you, like myself, are wondering when we're going to see some real games on the iPhone. I myself don't know, but IG Fun wants to be the people to help make it happen. They have announced that they are trying to port none other than BioShock to mobile platforms, including Symbian and our personal favorite, the iPhone.
