Orba, Beautiful Screen-Clearing Game, Hits The App Store

Kieffer Bros. has just released a beautiful new game for the iPhone and iPod touch called Orba [App Store]. Orba is a screen-clearing game which uses colored orbs as playing pieces. To clear pieces, simply tap orb groups containing three or more same-colored orbs. The larger the group, the higher the points. When you're out of moves, more orbs fall in. As you progress, the game introduces more colors which increases difficulty.

It sounds simple, but it's incredibly addicting! Orba is free right now for a limited time, so grab it while you can. Gameplay video follows below!

Chillingo announced earlier today that their latest title, Ravensword: The Fallen King [App Store, $6.99], has hit the App Store. For those who don't know, Fallen King is a 3D action/adventure RPG which features wonderful graphics and all the stuff you'd expect from a top-notch fantasy RPG. Filled with monsters, quests, spells and weapons, Fallen King should be just what the doctor ordered for fans of adventure RPGs.

Star Wars: Trench Run Hits The App Store

iPhone owners who simply can't get enough Star Wars on their iPhones will be happy to know that Star Wars: Trench Run [App Store, $4.99] has just hit the App Store. The game puts you in the seat of an X-Wing fighter pilot during the epic Death Star battle in Star Wars: Episode IV. Relying on tilt controls, you must use the force to fly your X-Wing down the Death Star's trench to hit the thermal exhaust port with your proton torpedos. You know the deal.

So far the game's gotten positive reviews in the App Store, although we haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet. Gameplay video follows below!

Vivendi Games Mobile has just released Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies for the iPhone and iPod touch. The the new first person shooter places you in a barricaded bunker where you fight the oncoming zombies to stay alive. Up to four players can participate over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and it includes several different weapons, power-ups and control schemes.

'Auditorium' Is New Musical Puzzler

Auditorium [App Store, $2.99] is a colorful new musical puzzle game where you guide particles of light by adjusting their direction, speed, and attracting and repelling force to complete tasks. The game start as grayscale, gradually getting more and more colorful and musical as you progress through the game.

OnLive Streams PC Games To iPhone

OnLive has successfully gotten high-end PC games running on the iPhone using cloud computing. The games are actually run on a PC server, with graphics being transmitted to the video. The company demonstrated games being "played" on two iPhones, a TV, and a PC at the same time.

'C64' Emulator Gets New Game Titles Like Bruce Lee, Cybernoid

The C64 emulator [App Store, $4.99] by Manimo LLC has been updated to version 1.2, adding the ability to purchase a wider selection of 8-bit games. New old titles include Bruce Lee, Cybernoid, Kickstart, Paradroid, Uridium, Druid, Stormlord and Alleykat. More well-known titles are being offered seperately, while less famous titles have been bundled into two six-packs of games.

Trailer For Upcoming Gameloft Game 'Avatar' Based On Feature Film

Gameloft has published a video trailer of their new upcoming game based on James Cameron's Avatar movie, to be available December 15th in the App Store. The movie is about "an epic conflict on a far-away world called Pandora, where humans and the native species of Pandora, the Na'vi, engage in war over the planet's resources and existence."
