Super-Tiny, Super Cool iPhone Projector To Launch In Japan December 1st

Texas Instruments has announced the release of their DLP Pico projector. The device, described as the "world's smallest / lightest" projector, will go on sale in Japan on December 1st in Apple Stores for use with the iPhone and iPod for around ¥50,000 ($511). It comes with a dock connector, and offers 2 hours of battery life, an integrated 0.5 watt speaker, and is lit by a white LED that can project a 60-inch 480x320 pixel image up to 8.5 feet away. When the iPhone was first announced, one of the main concerns was over the virtual keyboard. However, after having a chance to use it, it was discovered to be useful and intuitive. Of course, with anything in the tech world, there are always some complainers. One user decided to take matters into his own hands and hack his iPhone to work with an external keyboard. The OLO Computer company has updated their website with what appears to be a new idea for an iPhone accessory that uses the iPhone as the processing device. The image shows the laptop with the iPhone embedded where the trackpad is usually located, and running what looks like a version of Mac OS X Leopard, with a caption that reads "Sorry, but your PC is out"
