Absolutely looking forward to hearing each and every detail from Apple's event today about the iPad mini, Mac lineup refreshes, and the prospect of a possibly-refreshed 9.7" iPad? Watch it being unveiled for the first time (officially, that is) straight from Apple CEO Tim Cook and the recognizably-enthusiastic Apple crew today at 10am PST/1pm EST. Head after the break to find out how the event can be streamed live as it happens on Mac, iOS, PC, and Apple TV.
Mobile electronics aftermarket accessories maker Scosche has just unveiled their new in-dash mount called the iKit for the iPad. It's a double-din ball mount that includes a USB port and mini-stereo port, combined with a removable case so that iPad owners can maintain the portability of the iPad.
Take a look at the demonstration video from Scosche, showing the kit installed in a Subaru STi.
Remember that awesome retractable iPhone cable that hooks onto your keychain? Scosche initially announced the FlipSYNC iPod and mini/micro USB models at CES, although ship dates for both were TBA. Fear not, though as the company has recently announced that both FlipSYNC models will begin shipping in early spring for the slightly more than reasonable price of $19.99 each.
Wrapping up our meta-coverage of CES 2010, Scosche has announced a new accessory that every iPhone owner should have. It's a retractable dock cable that fits on your keychain called the flipSYNC. It's super tiny and looks just like a standard key fob. I want one!
If you've ever been somewhere and wished that you had an iPhone cable, this is for you. No price or release date yet, but we're guessing it won't be too long. Pics after the break!
