IDG has just announced that they'll be offering an exclusive, public preview of the iPad during Macworld Expo 2010. The event will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 1PM and will led by Macworld Magazine's Jason Snell. The event will feature a panel of "industry insiders" who will provide an in-depth discussion on the device, although we're not sure if attendees will be able to actually use the device.
Additionally, Macworld will be giving away an iPad to one lucky person as soon as it begins shipping. To enter the contest, you must attend the iPad Event, so be there or… just be there.
IDG has announced that internationally renowned musician BT will be at Macworld 2010, talking about how he incorporates technology into his music. He'll be interviewed by Berklee College of Music’s Mike Carrera during a feature presentation on Saturday, February 13th from 2PM-3PM. We're not too familiar with BT, but we've definitely seen him in several Apple product videos over the years, so he's clearly an Apple fanboy.
If you're headed out to Macworld this year, you should definitely check out this presentation. It's free to all attendees!
