PwnageTool 2.0.2 Released, Adds iPhone 3G Jailbreak For 2.0.1, Includes Cydia And Installer 4 Beta [Update: Download Mirrors]
The iPhone Dev Team has just released a new version of the PwnageTool, version 2.0.2. The new version includes an updated version of Cydia, as well as a new public beta of Installer 4. It can jailbreak iPhones running either 2.x or 1.1.4/1.1.5, the iPod touch, and now the iPhone 3G running the latest software update (although an unlock for the 3G update is still not available). Far Out Labs just released two apps for purchase to the App Store: ProRemote and ProRemote Light Edition. ProRemote lets you control ProTools and Apple's Logic Music production systems running on a Mac over an existing wireless network. The full version includes a dedicated transport view that lets the user perform advanced audio scrubbing/shuttling, set markers, and control several advanced aspects of the transport, as well as the basic play, record and return to zero functions.

Ambrosia Software has announced version 1.0.8 of iToner, their ringtone-making software for the Mac. the new software supports iTunes 7.7 and Japanese localization.
