Apple has begun airing a brand new holiday ad for the iPhone titled "Twelve Apps Of Christmas." The ad — as you might guess — plays off the Christmas carol, The Twelve Days of Christmas and features twelve iPhone applications that vaguely fit into a holiday theme.

This has yet to be confirmed, but could be really interesting. Two sources have now stated that AT&T (and through them, probably Apple) have stated that a $99 8GB iPhone 3GS may be in the works. One source has stated that this is their way of combating the DROID fever that's been building with the competing device on the horizon.
The Mecca of Apple hardware and software development, WWDC, is scheduled to kick off at 10AM tomorrow morning with a keynote from Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. Remember that Christmas app who's publishing company was paying people to download the app and write good reviews about it in iTunes? It was recently removed from the App Store, but not for the reason you might think. The publisher was able to get away with undermining the iTunes store rating system for a short time without incurring the wrath of Apple, but in the end the app ultimately had to face a comparable power– angry parents.
