Rockstar Games to Release Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars to iPhone, iPod Touch This Fall

Software developer Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will arrive for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch handsets later this fall. According to Touch Arcade, the game, which is presently available for the Nintendo DS, follows the story of Huang Lee, a young Triad who travels to Liberty City after the mysterious death of his father.

Firaxis Releases Civilization Revolution Game for iPhone, iPod Touch

Software developer Firaxis' Civilization Revolution has finally arrived at the App Store, marking the first time a Civilization game has been made available for Apple's iPhone and iPod handset. According to MacNN, Civilization Revolution, like the other entries in the "Civilization" series, is turn-based and carries over the other features of the full PC game, albeit some simplified rules include a limit of three units in army stacks.

Latest iPhone OS 3.1 Beta Points to Unknown Device

An updated USBConfiguration.plist file discovered in the most recent version of the iPhone OS 3.1 firmware beta offers evidence that Apple is continuing development on an unknown device. According to an ArsTechnica story, the product, referred to as "iProd", was first discovered in March and has since been updated as "1,1", which has led users to believe there is indeed an unknown product inside of Apple under active development running the iPhone OS.
