Since the time that the app store came into existence to the day about 2-3 weeks ago we had yet to see a quality, full-featured martial arts based game. Then EA came along with their version of the MMA Franchise made to play on an iDevice, MMA by EA Sports.
MacRumors has found several new pattent applciations from Apple showing three new technologies for use in future touchscreen devices like the iPhone and iPod touch. They include a possible solution for providing haptic tactile feedback, fingerprint identification, and the integration of an RFID reader.
According to The Register, Apple is considering creating an iPhone with a slide-out keyboard geared toward business users who don't like the idea of trying to type on a touch-sensitive screen. According to their sources, "whether or not [Steve Jobs] ever makes it work, he is already trying to make a 'slide-out' keyboard for a corporate version of the iPhone," and he has started showing prototypes of the device to operators in order to gauge demand for it.
