Unreal Game Engine Ported To iPhone

Epic Games has officially ported the Unreal Engine 3, the game engine powering the popular games like Bioshock, Gears of War, and Unreal Tournament 3. The engine requires OpenGL, so it will only run on the 3rd generation iPod touch and iPhone 3GS. Epic Games says they plan to make the engine available for licensing to companies who want to make or port games to the iPhone and iPod touch at some point. UK College To Offer iPhone Game Developing Course

Classes on developing for the iPhone in one way or another have been popping up around the US, even though the strict NDA attached to the iPhone SDK remains in place. The NDA indirectly prohibits the sharing of information on how to write code for the iPhone, but that's not stopping North London's Qantm College from introducing their own iPhone Game Development course.
