Ultra thin, ultra light, ultra hyped and rightly so. The Air Jacket Set case from Power Support USA is a hard-case for the iPod Touch 4th generation measuring under 1mm in thickness and weighing almost nothing – that’s how they manage to sell this case, and it’s certainly a valid
I’ve never really owned a pouch for my iPod, so I didn’t really know what to expect when I received the iPod Suede Jacket from Waterfield Design. Would it be good, or would it be bad? Only time would tell, and it sure did! I recently got the new iPod
Not long after additional IR dongles for the iPhone and iPod touch, the i-Got-Control IRB1 dongle is about to be released, the device including a database of over 40,000 IR codes for household devices and appliances.
Per SlashGear, simply plug this into the dock connector, download the free application [App Store, Free] and then dial up whatever components they have; once loaded, the IR beamer should do the rest, removing the need to keep those 40 remotes around.
The i-Got-Control IRB1 is expected to start shipping any day now for $69.95.

Today Apple released an update to their fabulous Remote application for iPod touch and iPhone. The update adds the ability to remotely create Genius playlists on any Mac or PC running iTunes 8 or later. The new features haven't been carried over to the Apple TV (yet). The update can be gotten from the "Updates" tab in the App Store or by going through iTunes. Remote is a free application.

Fortunately they built a feature into their Remote app for the iPhone that solves this problem.
There was a rumor going around last week that Apple was finishing up version 2.0 of the iPhone software, and that a special version of iTunes 7.7 would be needed to install it. Jesus Diaz over at Gizmodo has managed to get his hands on it, and has taken a few screenshots to confirm some rumors.
Some of you might remember that we mentioned an app early last month for controlling your TiVo from your iPhone/iPod touch called TiVoRemote. Some of you may have noticed that for an iPhone app, the interface was sort of... well, ugly. Well it's been updated with a sleek new user interface, as well as a few other changes.
