Sweet Deals: Ramp Champ Free, Frenzic $0.99 For a Limited Time

Our two favorite apps from The Iconfactory have just gone on sale! Ramp Champ [App Store], the wonderful carnival-style skee-ball game, is completely free for a limited time, down from its usual price of $1.99. It's incredibly pretty and tons of fun to play; we gave it a 5 out of 5. It's recently been updated with several new social networking features and bug fixes, so it's the perfect time to pick up a copy.

Frenzic [App Store] is also on sale for $0.99, down from its standard price of $2.99. We love Frenzic just as much as Ramp Champ, as you can tell from our review. We're not sure how "limited" either one of these deals are, so we recommend picking them up as soon as you can! Both are solid games.

All I can say is that I'm totally hooked. I haven't been able to find Chockenberry yet, but I do know that you need to knock down the three tombstones that reveal skeleton hands, hit the hands, then kill off the caskets.

Iconfactory (makers of Twitterrific) and DS Media Labs (makers of Light Riders) have teamed up to create Ramp Champ, a retro twist on the classic boardwalk game of skee ball. The am is simple: to "throw" the ball and knock down targets as they move around. Ramp Champ puts it in your pocket in several different flavors, with a dazzling and eye-catching artistic flair throughout.
