Apple has heard the silent calls pleading them to bring aspects of iCloud to the web, undergoing a beta to grant that wish. At its updated site, there will be a hub online for users to access iCloud staples including Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find My iPhone, and even iWork functionality by way of HTML5 apps.
One of the features sorely-missing in iTunes Match, Apple's $25/year service allowing users to match their own music library with each song's equivalent in iTunes, the first time around was an ability to stream music. With the iOS 6 beta, that changes as now users have the option to stream or download songs from iCloud.
There are a few things that could have hindered your transition from MobileMe to iCloud - after all it's been a year since Apple announced the discontinuation of support for the former. In a developing story surprising yet, not at the same time, Apple is being sued over iCloud. The complaint was filed on June 9 through the US District Court in Arizona by iCloud Communications. ICloud Communications, based out of Phoenix, provides voice-over-IP and other cloud computing products and services.
