Crescent Moon Games, publishers of many iOS titles, have ventured from one App Store genre to another. Not because their past games have tremendously failed, but because they're simply creative to the core - universally. Their latest entrance into the App Store, Mutant Storm ($2.99), falls into the arcade genre with fast-paced, shooting action - and naturally, it's quite brilliant.

Regardless of that, though, game development studios aren't resting and are constantly churning out zombie titles. Madfinger Games, the creators responsible for the unprecedented, beautiful FPS game Shadowgun, have announced their next endeavor - Dead Trigger.
Although our staff here at iPhone Alley doesn’t get to review every single worthwhile application that undoubtedly bombard the App Store each and everyday, we keep an eye out for those that promise potential. Those who love retro gaming on the App Store should be thrilled to be embraced by Underground Pixel's newest title to hit the App Store.
