The worry of gaining popularity is hardly an issue with the tons of chart-topping games that the developer already has under its extensive belt. In order to end the year on a good note, the studio has dropped the price of each and every one of its App Store titles to completely free - a twenty-four hour deal that seemingly appeared out of absolutely nowhere.

Apple, along with Telcel, the official carrier in Mexico, are now offering the iPhone 3G contract-free as of October 3rd. It sports all of the features that were available in the contract version, with the exception of the data plan, which can be optionally purchased for 1, 7, 15, or 30 days at a time. Official iPhone 3G carriers for Norway and Mexico have announced their iPhone 3G prices and plans. Mexican company Telcel will be offering the iPhone 3G for prices between MXN $3,199 down to free, and between MXN $4,459 and $1,259.MXN for the 16GB. Plans range between $399.60 and $876.90. Notably, at the cheapest plan price, both devices sell for $100 more than they will in the US.
