Launch Center Pro App Review

The newly released Launch Center Pro ($2.99) isn't a free update for owners of its unripe predecessor, and that did spark some ill-natured disapproval towards the respective developer. Regardless, that's no reason to simply brush the app off and not give it a go. The completely revamped, reimagined app ditches the previously-used list format and instead replaces it with a slick, more powerful interface geared towards optimal efficiency.

WWDC 2012 Promotional Banners Embellish the Moscone Center

Although the keynote where iOS 6 with a new Maps app, a possible slight change in iOS' UI color scheme, Facebook/iOS integration, new Macs and more are rumored to be introduced, is still a few days away, an indication of what we're to see is already apparent thanks to multiple WWDC banners that have been hung around the Moscone Center.

Jailbreak Tweak: Get More Out of Notifications

Now available on Cydia for $1.99, Reveal is a new jailbreak tweak that further enhances the functionality of Apple's new notification system. While Notification Center is a certain improvement over the obtrusive blue boxes that previously plagued iOS, some may argue that the current is a bit limited.

Launch Center App Review – One App to Rule Them All

Speed dial has been a feature unfortunately omitted from iOS. One app that aims to rectify this issue as well as add the functionality to essentially launch almost anything from inside its confines is called Launch Center ($1.99), and it does a great job at what it advertises.

Byline Announces New App Promotion With BlogPress

Phantom Fish has come up with a creative use for the 50 promotional app codes now given to them by Apple as developers. They have announced that for this holiday season they are giving away three free copies of BlogPress [App Store $9.99], their blogging tool for the iPhone, to purchasers of their RSS reader, Byline [App Store $4.99].
