Jonathan Zdziarski has announced the release of a new AMBER Alert iPhone app that works with the nation-wide AMBER Alert notification system that offers real-time missing persons information for suspected child abductions. According to Zdziarski, the app will be AMBER-aware and will run transparent to users, notifying them of all AMBER alerts in their area. The app will be released for free in the App Store. [via cnet]
