Files

filesicon.jpg

Files is a file storage application for your iPhone. You can think of it as a glorified flash drive because it lets you put just about anything you want onto your iPhone for retrieval later. The nice thing about using your iPhone for this purpose is that you can actually read quite a few of these files on the go, without a computer. There are quite a few apps of this kind on the App Store, but Files does have its share of unique features.

It has a full scrolling keyboard with all 88 keys, virtual sustain and soft pedals and a metronome. One octave is displayed at a time, while scrolling to other octaves is accessible through a highlighted smaller keyboard at the top of the screen.

21 Pro Blackjack is a traditional blackjack game with quite a few extras. Gameplay is very fast-paced, and you can win (or loose) a lot of money in a short amount of time. As you start playing, it's immediately apparent that a lot of time was put into the game to make it lots of fun to play, for both pros and beginners alike.

OmniFocus

OmniFocus was one of the few applications I was really looking forward to at the App Store's launch. Because I've already taken the plunge and decided to let OmniFocus track all of my random to-do's and projects, a companion app for my iPhone really excited me. To truly have a handle on my productivity, OmniFocus for the iPhone seemed extremely necessary.

FileMagnet

Simply put, FileMagnet is an application which allows you to store miscellaneous files on your iPhone. Because the iPhone doesn't provide any type of "disk mode" like most iPods, the application stores files within the apps personal storage space. FileMagnet requires a WiFi connection to wirelessly transfer files to and from your phone. Additionally, to access the files, the component FileMagnet desktop app is required, which is a free download.

Simplify Media

The iPhone is a fantastic media player, but its storage space is obviously limited — enter Simplify Media. Simplify Media is an application that lets you listen to your music collection anywhere you want. In addition to being able to listen to your own music, you can also invite up to 30 friends to be on your "buddy list" and stream their music as well.
