Being a curmudgeon, I have a couple reasons that I don't have the iphone and have a touch instead. Not going to ATT would be the first. Maybe if their coverage gets better, or, they get bigger tubes. Also, most of our friends/family are on Verizon, so going to ATT would cost even more. I don't think most of the peeps I know confuse a touch with an iphone.

I think the iPhone is superior. It has a wider set of capabilities and the ability to access the internet from anywhere. This puts the iPhone in a whole different class. If I were to switch to an iPod Touch I would probably go insane. That may be different if I were to start out on an iPod Touch though.

If I had kids, I would probably get them an iPod Touch instead of an iPhone.
