Great podcast. I like being able to stay up-to-date on things, such as the compass in Google Maps. It would actually be very useful. A lot of times I can locate myself on a map, but like Jeff said, I have to drive a block to see if I'm headed in the right direction.

As for Apple's control of the App Store, I like it. My brother has his kids on an AT&T family plan - not the iPhone - and one of his sons downloaded a free game that ended up charging for usage. AT&T forgave the charges, but he likes the idea of Apple's control.
