XM Mobile Radio Client For iPhone In The Works
If you’re a big fan of XM radio, then we may have some good news for you. It was recently announced that the XM Radio Mobile service is currently being ported to the iPhone and iPod touch platform. The announcement was made by XM Satelite Radio Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Vernon Irvin made the official announcement at the Federated Media Conversation Marketing Summit in New York.
XM’s current mobile service streams 25 of XM’s top channels for the monthly price of $9 to select AT&T, Alltel, and BlackBerry handsets. The client runs natively on the device to allow the user to switch between channels and view “now playing” information. No details on pricing, a release date, or payment methods (directly to XM or through AT&T) have been made available yet.
