WWDC 2008 Keynote Live Audio Stream

Once again, iPhone Alley is proud to stream live audio from Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference Keynote Address. The stream will be audio only, but it should hold up well to traffic. Steve Jobs' keynote starts at 10AM Pacific, 12PM Central, on Monday the 9th. Our stream will start shortly before the keynote does, so sit tight in the meantime.


Our stream is brought to you by the good folks at Ustream.tv. They rock! As we have no idea what to expect until we actually enter the keynote hall, we may encounter technical problems that inhibit the stream's quality. If for any reason things don't seem to be working out, MacRumors Live has photo and text updates as well. Join in on the chat below. We also recommend playing Keynote Bingo.

Live stream better than last year?

Would be cool if it held up. They way I remember it, last year, it didn't work at all.

Worked for me during the Macworld stream. Some people had problems, but most didn't. I don't remember the WWDC one. I think the site went kaboom, but the stream stayed if you were already on the page.

Wow. I tried to get on the ustream site. But firefox, safari and although IE crashes or it does take more than 3 minutes to actually sync the video / sound. Hope this will be fixed by ustream. But thanks for the live coverage.

I tried, but this is not only one of the most annoying audio streams I have ever heard because of the guy clapping and typing and coughing, but it drowns out everything important and is now a waste of time. I am off to http://www.macrumorslive.com/

It's still going for me, but I'm about ready to shut it off...
It sounds like he's capturing the audio from the same macbook that he's CONSTANTLY typing on.

Add to that, the fact that the levels are jumping all over the place and when you can hear what's being said it sounds like this...

"Active Sync..clickityclickityclickityclickityclickity...i phone...clickityclickityclickityclickityclickity.. .iDisk....clickityclickityclickityclickityclickity ...CROWD ROARS, blowing out my ears, and then he adjusts the levels to zero and doesn't bring them back up until you've already missed the first sentence.

Believe me you're missing nothing but annoyance.
