The iPhone is wonderful, but the same cannot be said about the included earbuds. Sure, they look nice, they're pretty comfortable, and the built-in microphone is darn handy, but the sound quality is at the high end of sucking. Enter Whoomp! earbud enhancers.

Whoomp! earbud enhancers are Hearing Components' answer to the audio quality issues with the stock headsets included with the iPods and iPhone. They are attachments that slip easily onto the standard Apple earbuds to transform your headset into in-ear, noise isolating earbuds.

They utilize Comply's patented, high-tech, viscoelastic polyurethane foam and are 30 times softer than the silicone used on factory-supplied earbuds.

I bit on these years ago. They are called EarJams and they are made by Griffin. This is the same company that made the iTrip. The case is the best part.
