Want to write for iPhone Alley? We're hiring!

As some of you may already know, we're searching for some more high quality writers to help us out around iPhone Alley. Duties will likely include blogging about current iPhone events, reviewing applications and products, and possibly writing a tip or two. If you live, breathe, and eat all things iPhone, we want you!

To apply, please send us the following...

  • A brief bio

  • 3 sample posts written in the style of posts written in the iPhone Alley style. One post should be a review, another should be a standard news piece, and the third can be whatever you like. Please keep it on the topic of iPhones and only send us new material. Do not send previous blog posts.
  • Your current iPhone and computer set-up. We prefer Mac users, but if you have a PC as well, that works even better.

Email all of these to Michael-at-iphonealley-com in plain text with no attachments and use "I'd like to help" as the subject line. All of these items must be included to be considered.

Thanks!

Do we get paid?

You're so hired, lawl.

Personally I think Zak Reiter does a great job at reviewing the apps
He would be well suited for being writer

When's the deadline?

The deadline is whenever we find a good writer, so get those apps in soon!

You should also include a proofreader in the search ;-p There are typos in the iPhone post above and the radio post below.

Surprisingly those articles are not even mine.

On a different note I will let everyone know that Michael is great to work with and anyone considering doing this should jump at the opportunity.

Does this mean I get an iPhone Alley email address and lots of free stuff to review?

I'm in :)

I always wished that ipa had more content. Never thought that would involve me writing it, kinda defeats the purpose. Oh well my application is in, or should be by now.

Yes and yes, but we don't like scary missiles at iPA towers, so you'd have to leave those at home

I also want to add that I've gotten lots of responses, although I haven't had time to look at a single one. I've been at New Media Expo and traveling, so I won't get to it until like Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks again to all who have applied!

*chuckle* I actually am a writer, I'm just terribly slow about pumping these things out.

Thanks for the great plug, though!

It won't happen today, but look for my application soon.

Sure. Send your application in and I'll take a look.
