Video MMS, Anti-Phishing Enabled In New iPhone OS 3.0 Beta

A few more new features have been found with the iPhone OS 3.0 beta seeded to developers yesterday. Some developers have managed to enable MMS to work on the iPhone, letting them view multimedia messages sent over SMS, such as video clips. An anti-phishing mode in Safari has also been found that authenticates websites commonly replicated as phishing scams.
The screenshot below posted by BGR shows how receiving videos on the iPhone as an MMS works. The video preview shows up inside a standard SMS message bubble, which opens and plays the video when tapped.

iSpazio reports on a new anti-phishing mode found in Safari in the new 3.0 beta. The first screenshot shows the preference pane where the anti-phishing setting is activated. The middle screen shows what the Paypal website looks like with it turned off, and the screenshot on the left shows what it looks like with it turned on in the new 3.0. The view on the left shows a green header and lock icon, indicating that the website being viewed is secure.
