uXM, uSirius Being Ported To iPhone 2.0 Software, Possibly App Store?

Millard Software has announced that they are currently working on porting their two satellite radio clients, uXM and uSirius, to the iPhone OS 2.0. Neither of them are official applications yet, so they will only run on a jailbroken phone, but both of them will work on EDGE, Wi-Fi, or 3G. With all the talk of a merger, it is hoped that they will soon turn their attention to the iPhone, but either way Millard Software is porting the apps using the SDK. They may try to launch them on the App Store if possible.

XM is already making an official app. The only difference is that the official app costs more a month over a regular subscription and XM is only giving iPhone users a few select stations so they need to buy a radio to get all 160+. uXM definitely won't make it into the App Store.

I (used) to LOVE these apps! That is, until I upgraded to 2.0 when the Dev Team released Pwnage 2.0. I emailed and asked Jason Millard if he was going to port the apps to 2.0 and he replied that he was going to try and get them in the App Store first. If they got rejected, then he would do it for the jailbreakers. I wish him the very best of luck getting them in the App Store! They are well worth paying for. But, I can't see as how they ever could get approved since they use so many graphics that belong to Sirius and XM. I just hope we don't have to wait many weeks for the apps to get rejected; if they do.

Great work, Jason!

thank god

i haven't updated to 2.0 yet because of a few certain apps i cant live without...uXM is one of them, along with islsk, summerboard, and a few others....i would rather donate to millard software directly for their hard work than pay XM more per month over my subscription i already pay.
