Unconfirmed: White 3G iPhone?

A post at the WeiPhone.com forums shows photos of even more alleged 3G iPhone leaks. The photos show what looks like the previously discussed tapered iPhone with an extra sensor. However, the power button seems to be missing and the back is very similar to the other fake we saw earlier.

We're not giving these much consideration as an actual 3G iPhone leak, but we're interested to see what you guys think. Do you like the idea of a tapered design and color options?

i would be fine with the design as long as it is easy to hold. i kind of have a hard time holding it with one hand and typing and there is always the slip factor if you don't use a case. color choices would be good, they really should have it like the nano where there are several options. hell they could even charge you an extra 20 for a non-black one and it would go over well i bet.

this does look fake though, i don't know what is with the power button...
this just looks like a special case but who knows...

Look at it, its only a case. There is no camera, if you look and the speaker end it is hollow. Just pay attention to details and you can bust or confirm any rumor.

I think if it was for real it would show the front.
The new phone should be the same shape and size. Do I really need to buy a new holster for a new iPhone?

If you look at the third photo down you can see where the person tried to cut out the case in photoshop. Looks like the person needs to learn how to use photoshop.

Wow the G3 iPhone

You say G3 iPhone, well as far as I know the iPhone has an ARM processor and nor a G3, maybe you were refering to G3 as in iPod G5 where G referes to generation rather then the processor, in which case somewhere along the line we must have missed a new iPhone since it went from one to G3.

real case

It looks like a preproduction version of a new case. The missing power button it the main indicator for me. Perhaps this is a prototype of a case design Apple dropped for one reason or other.

White iPhone in House MD

I don't know about it being a case now.. If you watched the latest (Season 4 Ep. 14) episode of House MD, notice when "Doctor 13" is on the phone, she is holding a white phone that has the shape of the phone in the picture, it has a camera hole in the same place an iPhone does, and is also white! Could it be a message from apple? LOL! I thought it was interesting.
