Stuart Carnie Begins Development of iFrodo Commodore 64 Emulator for iPhone
There isn't a ton to go on, but Australian iPhone user Stuart Carnie has posted a blog stating that he's managed to port a Commodore 64 emulator known as iFrodo to the iPhone. Carnie went on to state that he has yet to install a Save/Resume state mechanism, a means of browsing for files or a virtual keyboard or joystick, but that the difficult chunk of the code is written and that the emulator may be ready for when Apple's App Store goes live.
As of now, no one knows how Apple will react to the idea of emulators within the App Store environment, but this opens the door for some cool games and programs, including the original versions of Sim City or Maniac Mansion.
Cool stuff, Stuart and keep up the great work.
