Steve Jobs & Apple Execs to Keynote WWDC

Apple announced today that, as we expected, CEO Steve Jobs will keynote WWDC this year on June 9th at 10AM. A team of Apple executives are said to be tagging along with Steve to help out with demos and whatnot. This is the first year that Apple will be focusing on two platforms; Mac OS X Leopard and OS X iPhone. Although it's basically a given that Steve Jobs will keynote WWDC, official word from Apple is always tends to make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
The five-day WWDC event, which runs from June 9 to June 13, will feature the first ever iPhone track for mobile developers with in-depth sessions and hands-on labs to fully explore the capabilities of the OS X iPhone 2.0 software, including the iPhone SDK and the App Store, a breakthrough way for developers to wirelessly deliver their applications to iPhone and iPod® touch users.
For the most part, Steve ran the show last year with minimal assistance for a demo here and there. During the March iPhone SDK Roadmap event, Steve was helped out quite a bit by Phil Schiller and Scott Forstall. We assume the two will again make an appearance during the WWDC keynote, possibly along with a cameo by "iPhone Bob" Bob Borchers. We're expecting more iPhone than Mac at this year's WWDC.
