Rumor: Next iPhone To Be 3G, Have Front Video Chat Camera?

Here's an interesting little rumor: in the latest instillation of the hit podcast Diggnation, the podcast about the social news website Digg.com, founder Kevin Rose claimed to have heard rumors that the next revision of the iPhone would be 3G-capable and have a second camera on the front for video chatting.

Keep in mind, we have no way of confirming how true this is, so definitely don't take our word for it. That said, 3G has been mentioned before. As for the camera on the front, it would make a lot of sense and be way cool, but I have to wonder if Steve would be comfortable adding to the device's facade.

I guess I am the only person on planet earth that has noticed the housing for a front end camera ALREADY ON THE IPHONE... look your self... top of the screen there is a round housing and a oval housing... my guess: 1 for a cam, 1 for an in-use light... seriously guys

Um, not to burst your bubble, but what you are seeing already on the phone (the circle and the oval) are the ambient light sensor (to dim the screen) and the face proximity sensor to turn off the screen when you are on the phone.

thats halarious, omg... so many people see those sensors in the right light and think theyre the only ones who've ever seen them and think theyre cameras... thats a funny quote, someone should save that, he actually thought they were for cameras....

i'm with u. when i see this sensor i said maybe. and apple can do anything
why not sensor now. maybe sensor and camera on the future

i think apple can't do as any company as nokia and another companies that every day produce new phone with new future
i think apple greatest they will make us love iphone every day anywhere with anything
