PwnageTool Updated to v1.1, Adds Custom Packages

As predicted late last week, the DevTeam has released an update to the PwnageTool, version 1.1. The new version adds support for using the latest iPhone 1.2 Beta in the IPSW builder as well as perform activation. Additionally, the PwnageTool can now install custom packages and custom recovery and boot images using the IPSW builder and includes a fix for EDGE settings in iPhone v1.1.4. The new update can be downloaded directly or through PwnageTool 1.0 via the update feature.

On a related note, the DevTeam has acknowledged that the Windows version of PwnageTool has taken longer than expected. The release, dubbed WinPwn, is not an actual DevTeam release and is being developed by "cmw". Progress can be seen on his blog.
