Predicting iPhone 6 Release Date, New Features
The anticipation of the next iPhone release has hit full stride and we can’t help but throw our two cents into the latest round of speculations.
First, it is still unclear whether Apple will release the iPhone 5S or the iPhone 6. Given the history of the tech giant, we can only assume that the next iteration of the smartphone will continue to dole out the half-step S model before jumping into the next number, as we’ve seen previously. If that’s the case, we should expect the 5S model to be released in the springtime and the iPhone 6 to be released as early as September of 2013, according to expert analysts.
What can we expect from the new iPhone?
The latest buzz coming out of the rumor mill is that the new iPhone 6 will have a somewhat see-through plastic and metal case that will reveal the internal parts of the phone. However, it is unlikely that these new cases will be available for Apple’s cheaper iPhones, such as the iPhone 4s.
We can also expect that the iPhone will roll out a longer-lasting battery and will run iOS 7. New iPhone model identifiers found in their server logs have indicated that it the new upgrade will be announced at the WWDC conference in June.
What can we hope for?
It would be unprecedented if the iPhone 6 somehow managed to fit 128GB of storage space into such a small device. But we have seen it in the iPad and many experts suspect that Apple is working on a way to upgrade its storage capacity to the high-spending early adopters. It just might cost an arm and a leg.
And while we can’t see the iPhone screen getting any bigger, the China Times have reported that the company will introduce an even larger 4.8-inch display. Unfortunately, these Chinese reports are only right about half the time. But we can still hope.
