Orange to Sell Unlocked iPhone in France

You may have thought it could never happen, but it appears that Apple has been backed into a corner by French law forbidding the selling of a mobile phone and a mobile operator service. According to Engadget, wireless provider Orange will be selling unlocked iPhones as well as locked iPhones come the November 29th release date for the handset in the country.
The standard, locked iPhone will retail for €399 and a final price for the unlocked iPhone has yet to be released. Another part of the contract between Apple and Orange cites that Orange will surrender part of its service revenue for business generated by the iPhone.
So, give and take in everything.
If you have any ideas, feedback or packing tips for a spontaneous French excursion for your unlocked iPhone, let us know over in the comments or forums.
