Next iPhone Launching In May, Not June?

For the second time today, an Apple product rumor is making waves out of France. What we hear is a popular local magazine is claiming to have information also from “some mobile operators” that Apple is planning to release the next iPhone in May of this year instead of around June/July like they have been doing in the past.

We’re unsure of the credibility behind the magazine, but the article was written by the magazine’s editor in chief, so they seem to be pretty sure about it. He said the sources claimed the move was to combat competition from Google, who just recently launched the Nexus One.
