Mobile YouTube Uploads Increase 400% Since 3GS Launch
The iPhone 3GS is the first iPhone to finally have the ability to capture and even directly upload video over the 3G network, and you guys sure are using it. Since the launch of the 3GS last friday, daily mobile uploads to YouTube have increased 400%. They have been increasing regularly prior to the launch, but only at a rate of about 1,700% in the previous six months.
Numerous videos of YouTubers teaching others how to make more YouTube videos make up a significant number of the early videos, and may be compounding their growth.
With things going the way they are, we’d bet you will be seeing a lot more videos recorded on people’s iPhones in the near future.
